Councilman Day has proudly worked as an art educator in the Camden County School System since 2000 at both the middle school and high school levels. He previously chaired the Kingsland’s Downtown Design Committee and served as a member of the Kingsland Downtown Development Authority.
He has been a member of the community and involved in neighborhood issues long before being elected to City Council.
Education & Personal Life
Councilman Day resides in Kingsland with his wife Amanda and their three daughters. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education from the University of Georgia in 2000 and later received a Master Degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State and a Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University.
He is a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Kingsland.
