Linda O’Shaughnessy
Linda O'Shaugnessy became the City Clerk for the City of Kingsland in April of 2008. She joined the City in 2007 as a Human Resource Specialist.

Linda has over 25 years of human resource and management experience and was involved in medical, clerical, and industrial contract employment prior to moving to Kingsland from New England. She successfully designed a growth strategy and managed all day-to-day operations required to build a 10 office, $12 million contract employment organization from the ground up.


Linda received her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation in September of 2011 through the Carl Vinson Institute at the University of Georgia and is certified by the Elections Division of the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office. Linda also holds a variety of certificates in Human Resources, Environmental Management Training, and Federal Employment Law Training. She plans to continue her studies and seek the highest designation possible: Master Municipal Clerk.

Personal Life
Linda is an active member of the Kingsland community where she lives with her husband, Tom. She currently serves as Secretary on the Auxiliary Board of the Methodist Youth Home for Boys and as the Secretary of her homeowner’s association. She is a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea Church in St. Mary’s.
