Deputy Chief Seaward has approximately 30 years of law of enforcement experience. He started in Jacksonville, Florida in 1993, where he became a Florida certified officer. He moved to Charlton County, Georgia and joined the Folkston Police Department in 1994, where he served until joining the Camden County Sheriff’s Office in 1996. He was promoted through the ranks of patrol deputy, patrol sergeant, interdiction, criminal investigations, lieutenant, and patrol division commander. In 2009, he started here at the Kingsland Police Department, where he also rose through the ranks to his present position of Deputy Chief.

He attended Florida Community College at Jacksonville (General studies and Criminal Justice), Lake City Community College (obtained state of Florida officer certification), Armstrong State University (obtained state of Georgia peace officer certification), and Valdosta State University (Criminal Justice).
